Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQGs) removing residential Lead Paint Chips can bag and dispose of as solid waste.

Larger generators must determine whether if Lead Paint Chip waste is hazardous for lead content (waste code D008) to properly manage it. Either manage it as hazardous waste based known lead content or have it tested for lead content.
