Household Hazardous Waste includes many common products that are corrosive, reactive, flammable, or toxic and are banned from the landfill. Look for words like Caution, Danger, Warning, Poison or Flammable. Keep cool, dry, and out of reach of children and pets. Never pour them down the drain or outside.
Residents in CVSWMD’s member towns can dispose of these items at our annual Household Haz-Waste Collections. Any Vermonter can make an appointment at our Eco Depot, when it opens.
